Like other state schools, faith schools are inspected regularly by Ofsted. Most are also inspected by a religious body, with the inspection focusing on Catholic Life & Mission; Religious Education; and Prayer & Liturgy.
Previously, as a Catholic School we were routinely inspected by the Catholic Diocese of Birmingham – this was known as a Section 48 Inspection. However, the framework has been changed to a National approach and is now known as the Catholic Schools Inspection.
