Operation Encompass

Our school is part of Operation Encompass.  Operation Encompass is a police and education safeguarding initiative in Staffordshire, where the police provide early notification to schools about domestic abuse incidents involving children. This enables a school’s designated safeguarding lead, or “Key Adult,” to offer appropriate, confidential support to the child or young person, helping to mitigate the negative long-term impacts of domestic abuse on their emotional, psychological, social and academic well-being.
